Get to know The Beef Barn and our chef!



Our main woman here at The Beef Barn is none other than Chef Ivory Yat. She’s more famously known as “The Sultry Chef”, a moniker she gained when she joined ABS-CBN’s MasterChef Pinoy Edition and a nickname also widely used by various other articles, features, and blogs about Chef Ivory and her palatable roast beef.

Chef Ivory Yat started her career when she joined ABS-CBN’s MasterChef Pinoy Edition/MasterChef Philipines where she won 3rd place. She was granted a scholarship to pursue culinary arts and from there she started her journey as The Sultry Chef. Using her winnings from the competition she was able to set up her own catering company, earning various catering contracts with reputable companies.

Alongside being the owner and Head Chef of The Beef Barn, Chef Ivory Yat is also currently the Head Chef and Co-owner of Splice Resto Bar in Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City, offering Euro-Filipino cuisine. Her catering company is also ongoing, as well as some food stalls in Mercato.





Before opening our restaurant at Eastwood Citywalk 2, The Beef Barn started with food stalls offering our roast U.S. Angus beef and smoked bacon in a number of malls in Metro Manila. We periodically set up our kiosks at monthly gourmet markets and food festivals at Eastwood Mall, SM Aura, and the Ayala Malls.


The beef barn only uses USDA Angus beef, ensuring that tender and real beef flavor. We are committed into making very delicious meals with high quality ingredients but with very affordable prices.

The Beef Barn’s roast U.S. Angus beef is still the same original juicy and flavorful roast beef by The Sultry Chef herself, Miss Ivory Yat. In fact, this is her secret recipe. Her nontraditional methods of roasting this high quality meat is the thing that makes the roast beef so special and intriguing.
